| WINE TASTING AND GENERAL WINE COURSES
Italian wine and the food that accompanies it is a unique part of our culture, one which is fascinating to discover and involves more than one sense.
The courses we offer take place at the characteristic “Barrique” wine bar and our sommelier Alessandro Brizi is a teacher at the “International Wine Academy of Rome” and writes for “Cucina & Vini” (Cuisine & Wine) magazine.
We are offering a program that includes theoretical sessions on the world and history of wine, followed every evening by a tasting session of Italian and foreign wines.
This will give participants the understanding they need to make a more informed selection of wine, be it Italian or international.
What follows is the course program which is spread over 4 meetings lasting 2 hours each:

- Vines and vine-growing. Tasting techniques: analysis of aroma, tasting of three wines.
- Wine-making. Tasting techniques: tasting of three white wines
- Special wines. Tasting techniques: tasting of three special wines
- How to interpret the label. Tasting techniques: tasting of four table wines, Igt, Doc and Docg.

Seminars on specialised topics can be organised, as well as evenings dedicated to various food and wine combinations, or guided tours with wine tasting sessions in wine cellars in the Lazio Region.
