 RENAISSANCE WORKSHOP
PRACTICAL ARTISTIC DECORATION COURSE – Intermediate Level
Creativity and art were at a high during the 16th century.
The work of architects, artists and artisans was extremely popular and many workgroups sprung up which developed into proper creative businesses: the “botteghe” (the workshops).
Artists that made Italian art famous around the world such as Giotto, Leonardo, Michelangelo and Raffaello were first students then Masters in the “Renaissance Workshops”.
All artwork had to be of some use and our laboratory therefore focuses on projects that have a practical outcome.
Teachers from DM Studio, international professionals, work closely with students, perfectly blending together theory and production, and providing an inquisitive approach to a unique Italian experience. All this takes place in the picturesque study in Palazzo Taverna, in the heart of Rome’s historical centre.
Work will be handed over to the student at the end of the course together with a certificate of attendance.
